Hello
Some forums do not allow sig files enabled until a certain # of posts have been made. Check with the forum administrator
There are some forms that allow only 2 or 3 lines in sig file.
You may have to find more than 3 forums to get it done
Just realize that forum rules are changing due to trying to control spammers
Hope that helps some

Hello Everyone!
Okay, well after spending a few days searching for forums that allowed a sig file with a link, what I came up with was the following: ”
After you have registered, you may set your signature. This is a piece of text that you would like to be inserted at the end of all your posts, a little like having headed note paper.
If the administrator has enabled signatures, then you will have the option to include your signature on any posts you make. If you have specified a signature, then the board will automatically append your signature to any messages you post. You can disable signatures on a per-post basis by un-ticking the ‘Show Signature’ checkbox when you compose your message.”
I also found this somewhere hidden in the User Policy:
“Do not post off-topic information or use this site as median for advertising your product, business or site(s), etc.”
So I am going to take this as though I am allowed to post a link in my sig file as it does not say I cannot, just not in the body of my post. Any thoughts on this?
Thank you,
BJ

Hey Codrut,
Well that is how I knew I was in trouble in the first place not one sig file on the other posts on any of the 25 forums I looked had any type of link, I know that has to be unusual.
I did see something interesting though, on a few post I saw people refer to “this” or “that” hich was hyperlinked to their site or a site they were referring to.
So I guess I could do the same, this way I am not breaking any rules, written or unwritten.
Thanks BJ

You can’t deny it – each forum has its own rules and regulations. I’ve told about this in the videos.
Leo, I did not say to end up your research with your first 3 forums that you find.
Watch the videos again – I’ve said to focus on the top 3 forums, most popular and high-traffic within your sub-niche – they will be used as a traffic promotion source for the 3-day training program.
I’ve noticed there’s a real need to explain the topic in more in depth.
That’s why…
I’ll come up with a groundbreaking guide to explain FORUM marketing extensively. Stay tuned!

Forum rules also seem to vary between market segments. In the ‘home + garden’ section, most forums I’ve found so far do not allow ‘advertising’ in any form. Some specifically and explicitly ban affiliate links.
As Leo pointed out, some only allow sig files after a certain number of posts. To speed things up, I now tend to skim the posts before I even read the Ts & Cs. If no post has a sig line, then there’s a good chance the forum’s not for me.
Maybe I need to change niches, but at the moment I try to persevere with different keywords.
cheers

Holy Molly,I just out of curiosity clicked on the top commentators and in the first five all I saw was a promo page on some product or service each one had an interest in. Naive me, I thought all these were relative to Codrut’s program. I’ve lived a long time, but am still learning. CJ

Codrut, Just checked Video 3, and while I await to see if I have a valid signature, I must ask this. I have a “spirituality” domain address, but my signature is relative to my Golf sub niche chosen for this segment of your program. If I go into Google and do the search for spirituality forums and use the Golf signature won’t that be a confusing conflict of interest to visitors? CJ

WOW!
Your PDF report nailed my problems right on the head.
Too many distractions (especially e-mail) and lack of focus. Even though I’ve heard the 80/20 principle many times before, you’ve put it into a perspective that makes sense to me.
I think your PDF report is so valuable, that I’ve printed it out and keep it on my desk to remind me to stay focused.
I really like your idea of the digital countdown timer and voice recorder tool. You’re absolutely right…
TIME is our most precious asset. We must use it wisely.
Thanks for the great info.

#macalla – each fourm in every niche/sub-niche comes with their own rules. Your aim is to find the best ones.
And for the beginning just stick with 3 of them. The most popular and high-traffic that allow SIG files with links in it.
#CJ – that’s funny!
Regarding the sig file, I recommend you go with ClickAudit. Watch the videos again … this hides your link, regardless the domain name you’re using.
Anyway, I did NOT recommend you use a domain name yet.
Stick with ClickAudit for now.
#Carl – all you need to do is just apply the principles. I’m glad you liked the PDF
