3 Mistakes All PLR Buyers Should Avoid Like the Plague
Previously we talked about How to Buy Internet Marketing PLR Articles Low Cost where I shared with you how easy it is for a beginner to get trapped into the PLR buying frenzy.
Considering to join a membership site just because they give you 100+ PLR articles per month [and other "juicy" stuff] for a measly fee it doesn’t mean you should do it. Just think about it… do you really have the time to use all 100 articles? What if only 10 articles are in your niche, and the others are related to topics which you have no interest in?
Wake up moment – most people buy hundreds of PLR articles and join site after site just to collect massive junk on their hard drive, and do nothing about it. Smart buyers stop throwing money on stuff they don’t use. Be true to yourself. Invest in what you’re going to use this week or month, not next year.
Now that I took this off my chest… let’s mention the stuff you’ve been waiting for:
3 Mistakes All PLR Buyers Should Avoid Like the Plague
- #1 Mistake – Buy PLR articles from someone you don’t know or trust
It’s a shame that most people [not all] would buy a PLR article pack or get access to a membership site just because the offer seems attractive, price low, etc. But they know very little or nothing about the seller.
Do you really trust the seller? What are your feelings about him/her? Why would you like to buy from someone you don’t trust?
- #2 Mistake – Buy PLR eBooks instead of PLR articles
A PLR eBook costs more than a PLR article pack because it has a higher perceived value.
For example, you could sell an eBook for $30 or more. But you can only sell an article for $3 or less… if it comes with re-sale rights, which in most cases, won’t.
Here’s what you should do instead – buy PLR articles pack access, then turn those 10, 20 or 30 articles into a word document and sell it as a special mini PDF report
You’ll cut costs and raise profits.
- #3 Mistake – Buy PLR articles because the offer is “limited”
Not PLR article offers are quantity or time limited. If you don’t plan to use that particular article pack this week or month, you should not buy, just to save some money.
I think you should think twice before getting trapped into the PLR buying frenzy, and make smart investments in your business.
It’s time for feedback – What did you learn from your PLR buying experience? And what would you do differently next time?
I want to hear it from you. Comment right now, below…

Excellent advice on the PLR membership trap.
How much content can any publisher use any way, unless the delivery is automated!
It’s like going to an IM Guru’s sales page where he tries to sell you some little known secret on how to master certain aspects of Internet marketing, then he tries to sell you a ton of videos, ebooks and training lessons that will take you a life time to read.

What I would not do again is to download a huge free bundle of PLR articles without knowing what niches were included. It pays to only download PLR articles for your particular niche. I have wasted a lot of time going through huge packs deleting stuff I would never use.

Most PLRs carry risk also because very few come with proper legal documentation and signatures. You are at risk for copyright infringement. Many who create the PLRs would not sue you but it still is risky.
I do have many FREE PLRs gathering dust…mostly they are useful for ideas (for niches and occassional gems). So many PLR articles are just poorly written and to the point you can’t even rewrite them. I have found that reading some old IM PLR ebooks is useful simply as a free learning tool that many still charge for that have the same basic principles.
