Niche Marketing Ideas for the Stuck Brain

I have been online for over 11 years now and dabbled with quite a few niches including Internet Marketing, blogging, Adsense, online dating, self-development, web traffic generating, lead capture, email marketing, list building, you name it.

And I’ve been always hit by the “bore” syndrome. I’m sure you’ve encountered this feeling yourself too. You tap into a new industry, build a site, blog and/or a list. Write a few articles, or emails. Promote one, two or 10 affiliate products. Maybe even create your own info-product or coaching program. Weeks (or months)  later you quit, or jump into a new niche.

Why does this happen? Here are two common (or not so common) reasons…

#1 – Getting into a niche in which you’re not keen on (passion shows in your talking, writing and learning) – how many hours you spend doing these three key tasks reflects your passion, or lack of it

#2 – Doing it for the sake of making money or getting out of debt (I learned this the hard way: the Internet is not a lottery ticket and never will!)

Niche Marketing Ideas for the Stuck Brain:

When you’re stuck, when you’re bored, when you’re ready to give up (quit or enter a new niche) do this (or at least, try it, it’s well worth the effort)

Ask yourself these three questions (for real) and jot down the answer you provide (get a pen and paper – it will cause a positive impact on your brain cells for a few hours, and your subconscious mind might give you further insights and solutions to help out)

A. What am I really passionate about… what do I like to do in my spare time, with others, or when nobody else interferes with me?

B. What do I really enjoy learning about (in form of reading, listening or watching)?

C. How can I turn my passion into a profitable “opportunity” platform (forum, blog, mailing list, etc) where I can share what I know, learn and discover with others (my tribe, my fans, my target audience)?

Niche marketing (making money online) and living life with meaning revolves around YOUR PASSION and not around what others want from you, nor around what “GURUS” recommend (or advise) you to embark on…

Let me give you an example from my own experience: I love reading business/self-development books (and listening to audios) because this is how I learn about new methods (and principles) of business growth and human personal developing… and this inspires in my own activities. But that’s just half part. I also like to share what I learn and discover with others (like-minded people), thus blogging is my favorite platform.

I can reach fresh, new, growing audiences online and offline. Social media channels helps me (and you) to connect anywhere in the world, at the push of a button.

And because blogging and book reading is my passion, I’ve made a commitment to myself to enter the book marketing industry and stick to it.

Helping authors and info-marketers sell more, easier, better is my new passion because I can now use the IM principles and strategies which I’ve learned during these 11 years, with authors ; that’s my #1 focus with Codrut Turcanu dot com BLOG. At least, for 2011! :)

What is your passion? What is your niche? Why?

I’d like to hear from you. Share your comments with us right here on the blog.

P.S. Did you know that your passion will fuel new opportunities… new people and new skills? Just because I started into Internet Marketing and was determined to learn more about different ways to make money online and marketing a business, I developed dozen of skills including (but not limited to)…

  1. Blog install
  2. Blog SEO
  3. Blog product launches
  4. Blog commenting
  5. Article writing
  6. Email writing
  7. Copywriting (sales letters, ads, landing pages)
  8. Info-product creation
  9. Coaching programs
  10. Screen-capture video tutorials

Skills + passion = PROFITABLE ASSETS (better than money in the bank)

If you had 100 articles what would you do with them?

“Blind” Landscaper Reveals 3 Amazing Tips on Business, Motivation and Success

I firstly found about this Virginia-based, “eye-challenged” landscaper in a book I’ve read by Larry C. Farrell - “Getting Entrepreneurial!” – one of the most intriguing compilations talking on human potential in life and business.

I’ve read many “self-help” and “business” books, but this one has something apart. I don’t get paid to review books, but your reward for listening to what I’ve learned from this guy that I’ll share with you next, will hopefully payoff!

One of the most appealing stories I’ve found inside “Getting Entrepreneurial!” that changed the way I look at businesses and the potential hiding inside the many individuals, professionals and companies I work with, is one of this “blind” guy named Buel Messer, Messer Landscape, Inc. founder.

Here’s some “background” info on him…

* blind cattle rustler turned landscaping entrepreneur
* started out shoveling snow with his two small boys in the winter of 1980
* eye-sufferer; he can only see with one eye, not being able to use more than just 5% of its full power

Concepts I learned from his inspiring story:

1. There are as many reasons to “condition” yourself to succeed as there are to “block” yourself and fail. Is the “reason” you say to yourself leading you towards your goal, or detracting from it? Why do you want to achieve your goal in the first place? And what is it that you really want? Why?

Buel didn’t let his infirm sight stop him, instead, this “pushed” him into finding new solutions for the challenges he faced with and thinking strategically about his situation.

2. Growth opportunities are found “hidden” in yourself, in your profession, in your company. Stop looking elsewhere. Focus on what you already have. Can you find GOLD nuggets in other people’s garbage? Train yourself to do it!

Everything you want to get or achieve can be found in yourself, for as long as you know what you want, and for as long as you keep asking yourself clear, provoking questions…

Meditate, brainstorm and ask yourself… what are the best, easiest, most enjoyable ways to get what you want, pray if you like it. All this combined helps, as it helped me, and the people I “touch” frequently.

“Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” [Bible: Luke 17:21]

3. No need to get an MBA to run a business or perform in a profession. What you can’t afford to miss on is the knowledge, and the skill sets you need to acquire in other to manage yourself and others and “force” you to achieve your goals.

As Buel said… “You’ve got to make people feel strong about themselves and be motivated. I would say being able to manage people might be the secret to everything”

I can’t recommend enough this book. If you want to hear more, get in touch with me. And we’ll see how to work together and “upload” the strategic thinking and breakthrough methods I use, in your brain, to generate the cash windfalls “hidden” in your profession or business.

Hope this post did more than just inspire you;

I want you to realise and recognize the true human potential and how to implement these concepts in your profession or business. If a blind man can do it, imagine what you can do, in order to unleash your true potential and skill sets!

If you want to share your opinion, or get in touch with me, get heard!
