How to Get 1,000 Clicks With Just 3 PLR Articles
Whether you’re interested in PLR articles, or not, I have to confess something.
A few months ago I was totally anti-PLR articles, I thought that’s a waste of time and preferred to write my own content, until it finally hit me.
PLR articles, not only save you [re]writing time, as the content is ready-made, but also it cut the “research” time almost in half. Plus, you won’t have to pay full fee per article to any professional writer.
Last time we covered 3 Private Label Rights Articles Warning Signs you should be aware of if you plan to buy or download PLR articles. Today we get into something even more exciting…
How to Get 1,000 Clicks With Just 3 PLR Articles
First of all, why just 3 articles?
Because I like to play it safe. Why buy 30 articles when you can TEST the water, save time and money?
Secondly, why clicks and not sales?
That’s a great question… just think about it, before you get the sale, you need to get the click, regardless you’re selling your own stuff, or promoting an affiliate product, right?
So, here’s how I’d get minimum 1,000 clicks with just 3 PLR articles.
Let’s say my niche is “Twitter” since it’s a word on everybody’s lips lately…
I have 3 ready-made twitter related articles. The first step would be to post the content on my blog.
I have less than 300 subscribers as we speak, so ‘ll schedule each article to go in advance, one every 48 hours… I’d expect each post to bring me 5-10 clicks within the first 48 hours. The clicks will go to an affiliate program that pays me a nice commission.
So we’d be getting 15-30 clicks just from posting the content on my blog. And within a month, they’ll add up to 50 or more.
The second step would be to Twitter about my fresh posts and let my followers check the articles, in hope they click what I’m promoting inside.
Since I have 599 followers at the moment and the average CTR being 5%, I expect to receive 20-30 clicks within 24 hours, and more, if I Twitter twice or even three times during that time period.
I usually like to send a Tweet in the morning [8:00 a.m. EST] in the afternoon [2 p.m. EST] and around 7 p.m. EST. And I always change the post/article title to arouse my followers interest and make them visit my link [without pushing people, or making it sound radically different than the original post content]
We have 3 posts, so I’d be getting 60-90 clicks to my blog , and about half of them would click on the affiliate link.
30-60 clicks + 30-50 clicks and we made about 100 unique clicks to our affiliate link.
So, how am I going to get another 900 clicks to my affiliate link through our 3 articles?
Here comes the best part:
1. I’ll make sure to email my personal contacts [people I talked with previously for e.g. clients, affiliates, partners, friends, etc] I have close to 150 regular contacts which I exchanged emails in the last two-three months, so I’ll e-mail them the blog post links to get their feedback.
I expect a minimum 50 clicks combined on all three articles since these people already know and trust me.
We’re on a run to get 850 more clicks…
2. I’ll submit all 3 articles [without editing the full content, but maybe changing the title and some basic words] to http://www.goarticles.com and other similar article directories which are OK with accepting PLR articles.
I expect to get at least 100 clicks within 30 days on all 3 submissions.
We need 750 more clicks.
3. I’ll modify the content completely to create brand new articles, and submit them to EzineArticles.com simultaneously. It takes me less than 90 minutes to re-edit the articles and add new phrases/words, and I expect to receive 150 clicks within first 7 days.
There are still 600 clicks left…
4. I post the brand new articles on my blog. I’ll be talking on the same topics, but from a different perspective and/or get more in depth. I’d expect to get 50 unique clicks.
5. And guess what? I also alert my Twitter followers about the three new articles, and receive another 50 clicks…
Wow, 500 clicks left… let’s say we have a 10-day deadline , get clicks or die trying… lol
What’s my plan? First of all, we need leverage. I will contact my contacts and other bloggers I’d be searching through on Google, and from blog to blog, and ask someone to swap with me a blog post. This is something I did in the past with great success. Just one post to an audience similar yours could bring you hundreds of visitors to your blog.
The key is to find a blogger who accepts to post your article on his blog, with your affiliate link included. And you do the viceversa. You’re posting his content on your blog with his affiliate link included.
You’re exchaning blogs/audiences, and both get similar clicks/views/traffic.
I expect to swap all three posts/articles with 3 “open-minded” bloggers and gather minimum 300 clicks. To get 300 clicks on my affiliate link, I expect all 3 posts to bring me at least 900 visits to my blog, which is quite realistic if the blogger you’re swapping with have 400-600 subscribers.
6. The remaining 200 clicks will be achieved by doing blog commenting on other people’s blogs. I will make sure to post at least three comments a day to the top 5-7 blogs in my niche, and rank in the first 3-5 spots, then do follow-up comments and also post on older [archieved] posts.
I’d need to get a minimum 400-500 clicks on my “name” link when blog commenting to expect 200 affiliate clicks. So I’d be posting at least one hour a day, 5 days in row, dominating the top blogs with my comments.
This would be my first month plan to get 1,000+ clicks to my unique affiliate link with just 3 PLR articles. If you plan to edit/submit more than 3 articles and get more clicks, I think you’d fail for the sole reason as it’ll take you a lot more time, and less focus.
For most this sounds realistic, so why not try together and share our results here next month?
In the next post I’ll make an irresistible 3 PLR article pack OFFER. Only 30 folks will be able to own 3 ready-made articles, 100% original [I wrote them myself].
The topic is Twitter
I’m talking about these titles:
- “How Top Companies Are Using Twitter for Business”
- “How Anybody Can Use Twitter for Traffic without Spamming”
- “Is the Twitter Software You Are Using Better Than These Two?”
Each article comes both in word and TEXT format, and are around 350 characters. They’re yours to run with if you’re fast enough to order until “sold-out” appears. Only 30 licenses will be sold to keep competition at minimum.
The price along with other details will be announced tomorrow, it’s going to be super affordable, stay cool!
If you have any comments on today’s post, leave your comment, and let’s continue the discussion. I’m anxious to receive your feedback…
Codrut, the idea in theory is really great. There might be certain difficulties while applying it. If the article is not new and original, ezinearticles.com will not accept it. But still this seems to be achievable in practice. I started liking your ideas as I always find them fresh from the box.
I already mentioned that EZA only accepts original articles, so I’m looking forward to see your results if you’re trying this method yourself
I also remained anti-plr but i just accidentally tested them on one of my project and I was quite surprised to see it work quite well. I guess its a myth created by some internet marketers that plr articles are useless.
I see a lot of interesting posts here. Bookmarked for future referrence.
I'll try doing this one. I am making so many articles for my product review then scatter it on the web.
I am going to give this a try. It did bring up one question in my mind. The first article was submitted only to GoArticles and the second to EzineArticles. Why would you not submit the first and second articles to both articles sites?I agree that PLR articles are good to help you write articles quickly cutting down on research time. Some PLR articles are better than others but I have found that when you buy say a pack of 10 you can get 4 – 5 great articles by combining the information from the 10.
