Not All Affiliates are Techie Geniuses – But They Still Make Money Online
This post talks about an important affiliate marketing issue; I want to expose to you the biggest myth – that you need to be a techie person to make money online.
In fact, that’s not truth. I have friends making a full time living on the Internet who barely know how to FTP or change DNS [and that's basic stuff most newbies who probably know how-to by doing a Google research]
What smart affiliates don’t tell you is that they have a custom blog that gets traffic and makes money… but they paid someone else do the “techie” work
For example, instead of manually installing a blog [which takes a few days to figure it out how to do it], you could host WordPress on your server [most provides have one-click install or Fantastico] within minutes.
This is just one aspect, not to mention search engine optimization, plugin add-on, and all the bells and whistles.
And because I want to help the newbies have their own money-making blog, I decided to create this custom blog service for ClickBank affiliates only
What you don’t know by now is that it’s in your best interest to control a custom-made WordPress blog that gets traffic and makes money While enjoying life with your loved ones!
Don’t let the techie side of business scare you, don’t let this part stop you from making a living online, that’s crazy!
Get your custom blog setup right here and if you have any questions post your comments below and I’ll answer right away.
Hi Paul,
Thanks,
I’ll be in touch. I want to check it out and see what its like.
Yeah Codrut also has a great idea as well. May take him up
on that.
I think custom blogs are better than manually installed blogs even if one knows WP coz after blog gets installed one still may not be able to get SEO , niche or keyword research right or maybe anything else , but in custom blog everything is already done correctly whether it is themes , plugins , niche research , SEO , blog content and everything , which saves time and there is high income probability .
There were two great places that I referred to for getting help with the techie side of blogging to get me started.
The first place I went to was an IM giveaway. There I was able to find a WordPress video tutorial that showed me how to do the basics that also threw in some more advanced configuration such as the customizing of the header.
That was my starting point and I watched those videos over and over while actually building my blog to get it finished. After creating my blog I too wanted to know some more detailed php coding and that is when I headed over to Youtube for additional tutorials.
There I found WordPress how-to videos galore and it made it easy for me to discover how to tweak things even more. After I put into action the things I were learning, I then just started playing with free themes.
I used over 40 themes and just tweaked them to my hearts content. I was actually looking for one that fit what I wanted my blog to look like best, but I was also learning how to customize them too.
That is really going to be the best way for you to learn how to dissect a WordPress theme inside and out. Playing with the code, changing things and messing it up, then panicking and fixing it is how it all works.
I can admit I don’t know what some code does or what to call it, but I know how to use it to change what I want done, and for me that is all that matters.
But Codrut you are right you don’t have to be techie to get started with affiliate marketing. If you know the basics that is all you need to get started. Once you get started you can then hire out or learn as you go.
Since I was not scared of the techie side of things, I didn’t have that fear holding me back, but if you do have that fear holding you back then leave the techie stuff alone and do the basics only.
I agree with you totally, Codrut, that you don’t have to be a techie to make money. I know many marketers that needed techies to get out of the gate. Conversely, as I can attest to, just because you have the techie skills does not mean you Will make money. I can FTP, install wordpress either manually or using an install script, build websites using X-site Pro, or html, or even wordpress now, and i have never made any significant money from affiliate marketing, which is why i am joining your power team for blog commenting. The only way I have survived the last 3 years is by providing the techies skills to the marketers. They make the big money, and I compete with people from all over the world. So, now it is time to really learn marketing, which I am trusting you for.
#Rod Alley: well, you can always use these skills in your advantage, later on… and just for your information, I’ll open a new team, this time for blog installing/and all the techie stuff, in January. Hope you’re going to get inside too. Stay tuned!
Hey Condrut, I just read your PDF Ebook and am curious about making money creating Blog Comments, I already have a paypal account and a PayDot Account.

My WordPress Blog has all the instructions on how to create A RSS Feed and Micro Continuity Program. Just click on my name and check out a Blog Post, Free Traffic System posted as a guest user. The Blog Post-ARE YOU A GOOD HOST.
I have also have account with Free Traffic System. This System allows you to post blog comments on others peoples blogs and you receive over +7 backlinks and you are allowed to spin articles and post those spun articles articles on 30 Blogs of your choice. Pretty Cool System.
So if you can tell me about the PayPal Business Account, I would appreciate it,
Thanks,
Ray
And I look forward to becoming part of your team.
#Ray: yes, paypal has a comparison “chart” on their site, look on that. Basically regular paypal can only send money, and not receive it. Business or premier can use cards for accepting online payments
