How To Promote Hot Products Early – The Early Bird

I’ve noticed that if you get in and start promoting a hot product before it actually becomes hot, then you can make a lot of affiliate commissions really really quickly.

And everyone wants to make money quickly, right?

But the thing is, no one really knows how to do it right. So let me give you some tips on an affiliate tactic that I call, the ‘Early Bird’.

Ok, so first of all, get yourself over to the Clickbank marketplace. If you look around, you’ll see products that are all new and old, all bunched together in the marketplace. Then do a search for a product in a popular niche. A popular niche would be one like:

- Acne
- Video gaming
- Affiliate marketing etc

Next, sort it by low gravity.

Now, look carefully, and you’ll see that the new products all have stats (all in green, underneath each marketplace listing) in the Clickbank marketplace that read as a dash (-).

So if you found a new product, it’s Clickbank marketplace stats would all read like this:

$/sale: – | Future $: – | Total $/sale: – | %/sale: – | %refd: – | grav: -

Great stuff – we can use this. Now check out the sales page, and make sure it looks good.

Then finally, choose a handful of products and throw them up in a simple adwords campaign. Just bid on basic terms like the product name and see how I does.

If you get impressions or clicks, you’re doing well. Keep an eye on it, and if you start getting sales – BINGO!

Keep watching it. If it starts doing well and getting traction, then break it out into it’s own campaign, and go crazy – this one is about to get hot!

Then all you do is simply ride the success of that product, and cash in some big boy affiliate commissions.

Remember:

It’s important to start promoting hot products before they become super huge. If you can do this, you will ride the success of the product all the way to the top, and you can hit $1000 a day by promoting just one product.

I actually made $585.07 by promoting just one simple Clickbank product this way. Guess how much I spent to promote it? $52.32. So for every $1 I spent, I got $11 back. That’s 1000% return on investment (ROI) – not bad going for an ‘Early Bird’, right? And that was one simple campaign BEFORE I did any major work on it. It took me 10 minutes work to set up.

Imagine if you had 10 campaigns like that. You would have made more then $5500 for about 2 hours work.

One Simple Tactic To Boost Your Affiliate Commissions

I’ve been making money with affiliate marketing full time, for 6 years now. But I still remember the days when I used to see people posting huge commission screenshots and thinking to myself ‘how in the world do they do that!?!’

The good news for you is that I can easily remember the ONE thing that boosted my affiliate commissions.

So let me tell you about it, and also how you can use this simple mindset to boost your own affiliate commissions.

The thing with being an affiliate, is that there is usually lots of affiliates all promoting the same item. This is more true if the product is hot or has already been gathering lots of momentum. But if it’s a hot product, then you want to get in on it too, and make some good commissions, right?

So here is the mindset you will need to have:

If someone sees 10 other affiliate offers for the exact same product – why would they come back and buy from your affiliate link?

Do you see where I am going? You need to be special in the crowd. You need to stand out and be remembered. But how do you do this?

The answer is that you need to increase the value of the product which you are promoting.

First of all, never just send the buyer to your affiliate link, and have them land on the sales page. This is the same thing that everyone else is doing and there is no reason for the buyer to come back and click on your affiliate link.

If you do this, and you make a sale, then you are LUCKY to get that sale. And good consistent affiliate commissions are not built on luck. They are built on strategy.

Remember, people are always interested in what they get. So let them know when they buy from your affiliate link, they get more.

One way you can do this, is to offer more related items to the buyer. A lot of people think they are already doing this by offering a bonus item. And yes, that is one way of doing it, but it only makes sense if your bonus has a lot of value with it.

I see a lot of people mess this up, by offering crappy bonus items, and then saying ‘when you buy this product, you get an extra $3,842 of bonus item free’. That is rubbish and people know it. Show me where this bonus item is on sale for $3,842!

So if you offer a bonus item, make sure it is relevant, and make sure it is quality. And make sure that you can PROVE it is a quality item.

Although this is simple to do, it is also very easy to mess this up. If you get it wrong, you can kiss goodbye to all of your affiliate commissions for this promotion.

I actually show you an example, and a step by step plan to set this up properly, inside ‘Affiliate Justice’, because so many affiliates were asking me for it.

But remember the basic strategy. There are a lot of other affiliates all promoting the same item as you. Your aim is to make sure you stick in the buyers mind. If you can do that one thing, your affiliate commissions will take a massive boost, overnight.
