Good points Codrut.
I think the most serious reason to own your own eBook is to start to establish a name for yourself whatever niche you are in.
Once you write an eBook you start to position yourself as an authority on the subject.

Great video. Yes, having your own book has some great advantages. Having my own book has paid off in a huge way. It still brings in subscribers daily, as it’s available on some other marketers thank you and download pages. Re-purposing, as you pointed out, is great for getting more leverage out of it as well! Good video! Myself and Euan have written one eBook already and this video really reminded me of why we did it and what we should be doing with but just haven’t got round to it.
The very next thing i’m going to do is take some of the chapters form our book and post them on ezine articles and start getting hits one our optin page. Well done Codrut!

As always, you’re spot on. Very good video, and you’re quite right. E-books are the way to go, and we certainly have a huge advantage in Adobe having thought of the PDF-format so we can read E-books on many types of handhelds, portables etc.

hello. aside from your reasons which you presented succinctly/correctly/incisively, for me it is very good to express what you know and believe in about your subject, and then get paid for it.
is not that lovely? i am thinking up a subject to make into an ebook…
