I find Adsense totally confusing.
Supposedly, I targeted high paying keywords ($10/click)
yet I've only been getting around 10 cents/click.
Has anyone (other than Joel Comm) figured out how to make
sense of Adsense?

Hi MoneyPlus,
I understand your frustration. I too had the same problems with Adsense and gave up trying to understand it some time ago!
I'm not a great fan of building sites just to make money from Adsense. They clutter the net and more often than not don't provide any quality content. Instead I use Adsense in articles hosted on my sites. I send people to the articles via my autoresponder lists, so I'm not losing them if they click on the ads, since they can return to the article via the email link.
It's not a great moneyspinner, but it does create a nice passive income that's increasing steadily as I write more articles.
I'm also experimenting with using adsense adds in my blogs, you can get a free plugin to do this if you use wordpress blogs.
Hope that helps.

Well, google had a major change some time ago which makes good amounts per clicks impossible. They have added an option to adwords that allowes the advertiser to choose a different amount for network clicks then for search engine clicks.
To make good money from adsense you either need to build hundrets of these kind of websites or you need a lot of traffic to 1 website.

I'm not into AdSense anymore. Did a few hundreds. Even created my own
info-product at: http://www.AdSenseConfessions.com who is still selling
after 3 years.
I mainly created because I want to learn about Google AdSense myself,
not to sell it, but people asked for it, so I release it to the public.
hint - it's best to find out what your market and (potential) customers
want (from you), then provide them with the solution (your product or
service).
If you've heard that before, then why you're not applying it?
AdSense is pocket money. I'm not looking to work like a dog and
generate $100 per month. I'm into building real solid businessese
on the web, and dealing with real money-making systems.
What about you, are you still with AdSense?

Nope, likewise I find Adsense to be more work than return on time investment.
But like KLJ I do have it in place in a few articles, and content places that I already had in place.
Its another case of supporting Google's coffers more than my one, I think
