When I talked about one of the best, if not the best ways to get more targeted traffic to your site or blog, I forgot to mention some important mistakes you need to avoid.
Remarkable Blog Commenting Strategy
Makes Money While You Sleep
(Your Single Biggest Option for Getting Instant
And Long-Term High Quality Targeted Traffic)
Here’s what a fellow blog reader (Carl Willoughby) says about it..
“Codrut, I think you’re right on the money.
For a beginner, your concept of posting on blogs
is the fastest and easiest way to start making money.”
Believe it or not, this is the trendiest traffic generating strategy which marketers are starting to use (and some are seeing real results FAST)
What they don’t know is that there are quite a few mistakes you need to avoid when commenting on other people’s blogs (that’s what this traffic generating STRATEGY is all about)
While there are at least 5 big mistake which I’ve identified (and would probably mention them step by step in upcoming postings), I want to let you know about..
The Worst Mistake You Could Do When Using the Blog Commenting Strategy
That’s using a link in the blog post itself.
For most blog owners this is consider spam or something unacceptable on their blog.
And that’s why they’d delete your comment in a second. Yes, there are some bloggers who are actively monitoring their readers and delete those ’spam’ comments or useless feedback with NO REMORSE (e.g. “Good post, keep up the great work!”).
Know what I mean?
Just in case you see blogs who accept LINKS in the post itself, and others are OK with that, I suggest you add your link too, just don’t over do it. More than one link is absurd as you want to keep your focus and not leave the impression you’re commenting for the sake of getting more exposure to your site or blog.
Now, the blog post itself is NOT the place where you advertise your link, or showcase your blog url.
You do that in the “web site” FIELD, which can be found on 99% of the blog commenting forms.
Work SMART. Avoid this mistake, and you’ll get more comments approved.
Moreover, you’ll get a good reputation and more visibility on the blogs which you comment on as folks would see you’re not promoting your link for the sake of it.
Hint - remember to use the king of the kings and provide value when doing these comments too!
And speaking of blog commenting, it’s a wise IDEA to start doing it as soon as possible, even if you don’t have a blog yet.
Yes, the beauty of this strategy is that you can promote any link - site, page, blog, or affiliate url.
BONUS mistake - NEVER take the shotgun approach when doing blog commenting on other people’s blogs.
Why comment on unrelated, non targeted blogs, when you can Aim For The Bull’s-Eye?
What I’m traying to say is that there’s no use to comment on IM related blogs and include the LINK to your hobby-related blog which has nothing to do with IM, or promote your slim fast site URL thinking you’ll get some visitors.
- If you get them, they are NOT targeted.
- And if they’re not TARGETED, they’re NOT GOING TO READ YOUR BLOG for more than 5 seconds.
And what that means is this:
- you focused on the WRONG blog
- while you got that traffic for nothing, you made nothing out of it
Next time focus on the right blog(s) and create the right comment.
Last TIP - and make sure you are not getting trapped by these 3 web distractions!
